2025 Employee Engagement Plan
This case study showcases how I developed a comprehensive employee engagement initiative for 2025 for a company with both local and field employees. The program features monthly "Surprise & Delight" events designed to help employees feel celebrated, foster connections between team members, and enhance the value of coming into the office.
The plan balances strategic resource allocation with maximum impact—creating a mix of lower-cost monthly activities supplemented by several larger signature events throughout the year, all within a $50,000 budget for 400 employees. A key component of the strategy addresses inclusivity for field employees, creating parallel experiences coordinated through field managers with costs charged back to the central engagement budget.
This framework demonstrates my ability to create cohesive, multi-layered strategies that align business objectives with employee experience while ensuring consistent messaging across diverse audiences and locations.
Strategic Objectives
Enhance Employee Experience: Create anticipation and excitement around each monthly event
Increase Office Presence: Highlight the value of in-person connections through engaging events
Foster Inclusion: Ensure field employees feel equally valued with parallel experiences
Promote Company Culture: Reinforce our values through thoughtful communication and events
Maximize Engagement: Achieve high participation rates through effective communication and events people want to attend
Sampling of Events
January: Gourmet Hot Chocolate bar provided by Ben & Jerry's
April: Earth Day celebration making herb pots to take home
May: Summer kickoff food truck (will have options for vegetarian and gluten free employees)

November: Thanksgiving themed potluck, we will provide the turkey, everyone brings sides and desserts to share.
